What is Klickfast? Klickfast was an invention by a man named Peter Jones. He wanted to make a radio mount mainly for Police to stop their two way radio falling off in a scuffle or when running. Klickfast was invented and now used by every force in the UK and forces around the world. What else do I need for Klickfast to work/ How does it work? The stud is the first stage of Klickfast. You also need Klickfast Docks for the radio to mount to. Mainly a Belt Dock which slide onto your Belt and allow the radio to be fixed securely to your belt. You can place the radio onto the belt in any position however to remove the radio it needs to be Upside Down, meaning it cannot accidentally fall off or be removed by other persons rapidly unlike a traditional belt clip. Emergency Services have Klickfast Docks sewed into their Stab Vests around the breast area. Not only is Klickfast for Radios it is used for Handcuffs, CS Gas etc. So remember this listing is for the Stud/Back Cover. You then need to decide where you want to mount to radio, on your belt, jacket, stab vest etc then you can search our eBay shop and purchase your specific dock.
